Christmas Hat

First take a piece of white card 7cm x 7.5cm and cover with White Shimmer Tulle (TUL-2-WT). With a doubled triangle piece of Red Shimmer Tulle (TUL-2-RED) make a little cone shaped hat the glue onto a Painted Wooden Face (W42). Mount this onto the shimmer tulle covered card. Finished with a silver Punched Star (PUN10) shaped and a small length of White Chenille Stem (MISC7-WT) around the base of the hat.

Christmas Pudding

From a Card Starter Pack, choose a piece of brown and cream card. Cut two oblongs one slightly smaller than the first, glue the two together. Onto this glue a Happy Christmas Tag and finish using two 5.5mm red Acrylic Round Rhinestone Gems.
Cut a circle from the brown card and glue over the top of this a piece of cream card cut to look like icing.
Finish using Holly Rhinestone Gems, red 5.5mm Acrylic Round Rhinestone Gems and 3mm gold/yellow Acrylic Round Rhinestone Gems to give the raised detail.
Mount your pudding and message to your card blank using 3D Sticky Foam Pads.

Christmas Star & Rhinestones

For this sparkly Christmas card, cut some Silver Glitter Mesh (MISC9-SL) large enough to just leave a small boarder around the card front. Weave some Purple 7mm Organza Ribbon (R11-PUR) in and out of the mesh on the left. Using a Black Happy Christmas Peel Off Sticker (409U-BK) on some white card, mount this towards the top of your card. Below this, stick a couple of Purple Peel-n-Stick Rhinestones (RG5-PU) and to the centre of these rhinestones, stick with 3D Foam Sticky Pads (GL1) a Flat Backed Holographic Star Gem (RG4).

Christmas Wreath

All card makers keep scraps! So using card from an old greetings card, mount a Black Happy Christmas Peel Off Sticker (409U-BK) to a piece of card 2.5cm x 7cm with the 3D Foam Sticky Pads (GL1), attach to the top of the card. Then cut a green piece of card 6.5cm square. Take a Pine Stem (MISC8) and cut a 4 inch length off, then make into a circle to form a wreath. Glue the two ends together or twist onto themselves, glue a 20mm Red Satin Ribbon Bow (B1-RD) to finish the Christmas wreath off.

Classic Christmas

Take a two Hunter Green Marabou Feathers (F1-HGR) and twist onto the quills a two of Red Pearled Babies Breath Flowers (MF4-RED) On the stem, glue a Gold 20mm Organza Bow (B8-GD) and finish with a red rhinestone from a pack of Round Rhinestones (RG15). Mount the finished item onto a piece of gold card 7.5 cm x 8.5cm.

Climbing Bead & Flowers

On a Hammer White Card (084-H-WT), cut with your craft knife 5 horizontal 15mm slits down one side of the card as in the picture. Take some 15mm Green Organza Ribbon (R4-GR) and weave in and out of the slits, leave slightly loose so you can then weave some White 3mm Round Bead String (TRY-BD1-WT). Pull the ribbon tight to keep the bead string in place, cut neatly and glue to the inside of the card. Finish with a couple of Pink Mini Organza Flower Heads (MF9-PK).

Decorative Mounts

A simple way to make a topper with a Decorative Mount! We all have gel pens in our craft box, use them to give detail to the pattern on the decorative mount and then to make them a little more interesting by adding a rhinestone, gem or embellishment of some sort.

Dragonfly

A soft and gentle mount simply using printed-paper or if you can water colour even better! Touching up the edges of the leaves with gold gel pen, finished with a Gold Metal Dragonfly (MM2-GD)

Easter Garden

Mount your Easter Peel-Off Sticker (420U-SL) greeting onto a piece of card or vellum. Glue around the rim of your Miniature Straw Hat (MISC2) your chose of flower heads (to this hat we glued Two Tone Pink Mulberry Paper Flowers (MF21) and the finish the look a Pink Satin Ribbon Bow (B1-PK) Onto the handle of the Metal Watering Can Embellishment (MM23) tie three different coloured Organza Ribbon (R11) Lovely card to give �Nan or �Mum� at Easter.

Evening Dress

Using four or five Fluffy Marabou Feathers (F1) leaving as long as you can, stick onto card (flowerpot shaped) Attaching some little straps to the card (at the narrow end) or leave strapless. Round the card wrapped some ribbon or fabric, finish by adding a few single strands of a Pearl Spray (PS) for extra detail.

Fancy Ribbon Fan

You can make the miniature White Fans (EM15) more fancy by sticking some ribbon or lace to back of it.

Feather Pearl Topper

Take a small fluffy Marabou Feather (F1), placing one spray from the Bunch of Beaded Pearl Spray (PS1), tieing the two together by winding the stem of a Medium Ribbon Rose (MF6) around them and then finished with a Small 20mm Ribbon Bow (B1)

Feather Tree

Turn a Hunter Green Marabou Feather (F1-HGR) upside down, cut away at what was the top of the feather to make a truck. Snip the ring off a Silver Metal Puffy Star (MM10-SL) and glue into place at the top of your Christmas tree. Then glue the tree onto your card and place a Mini Split Flower Pot (W1) to form the pot.

Fishing

On a thin piece of brown cardboard 2.5 inches x 4 inches stick a Copper Skeleton Leaf (SL1-CP) in the centre. Cut a piece of Special Jute (MISC6) slightly bigger than the cardboard, glue into place. Make some weed using Raffia (MISC1) and glue this in place along with a Natural Skeleton Leaf (SL1-N) and a small group of Mini Natural Shells (MISC3) to the bottom of the jute. Onto a Plain Wooden Fish (W37) dab Gold Ink Pad (STP1-GD) use a gold roller pen to draw scales and gill. Use a small joggley eye, bead or foam for the eye and some thick sewing thread as the fishing line.

Flowerpot Topper

On one of the Decorative Mounts (PDR058), just simply glue a Mini Split Flowerpot (W1) with a couple of the Pink Mulberry Paper Flowers With Pollen (MF12) glue to the back of the pot. Easy, cheap and effective!

Football

Wrap some Red Mulberry Paper (MP11) around a piece of card and glue into place. Onto this glue a piece of slightly smaller white card, then cut a piece of Jute (MISC5) bigger than the white card and glue this into place. confusing but easy! Mount a football from a Football Peel Off Stickers (425U-BK) onto white card, cut out then mount this with 3D Foam Sticky Pads (GL1) onto the Jute. Choose your mulberry paper colour to suit the supported teams colours.

Gifts

Cut the size of present you want for your card embellishments and simply wrap some ribbon around it, tying at the top detailing the ends of the ribbon. Leave plain or use some Round Rhinestones (RG15) to decorate.

Golden Chick

Using some Gold Marabou Feathers (F1-GD) staple the ends together, glue to the centre of your greetings card, over the staples glue �grass like� foam or card. Onto the group of feathers glue �beak shape� foam or card for the chicks beak and a couple of Joggly Eyes (EM43) Cutting a length of Green Organza Ribbon (R4-GR) long enough to stick your Easter Peel-Off Stickers (420U-SL)

Happy Birthday Shoes!

Cover 3/4 of a blank card with backing paper. Cut 2 pieces of plain card and two slightly smaller pieces of backing paper into squares. Decorate with fancy edges and glue the smaller backing paper to the larger plain card to make toppers. Stick Happy Birthday Peel off Sticker to one of the toppers and two Die Cut Shoes to the other topper.With 3D Sticky Foam Pads stick the toppers across the edge of the backing paper. Finish with Organza Ribbon tied in a simple knot.

Hearts & Pearls

Why pay lots out for decorative embellishments, have a go at making your own. Take a Large Padded Fabric Heart (PD9) or Star (PD8), wrap Beading Wire (BW1) around the heart/star and thread some 4mm Pearl Beads (BD5). These are cheap, quick, easy to make and very effective.
